The Y Family | La Crosse Wisconsin Family Photographer

A dog can be such a wonderful part of a family and we love working with these furry folks!  Biggie (seriously, the perfect name) was more than content to stay in mom's arms.  But after we took advantage of the early part of the session to capture these guys with their furry family members at their home, we moved to another outdoor location to get a few more shots.  They were awesome at pretending there was no cold and no wind and it made for a wonderful session!  We love getting the chance to meet our clients at their homes and create very personalized images - all in all, very fun session!

R & C Engagement | La Crosse Wisconsin Wedding Photographer

R & C were such troopers for their engagement session!  They wanted to catch some of the last of the Fall and they did so, gorgeously, while freezing to the bone!  Although, when being very cold brings about sweet, romantic hugs like the one above, you really can't complain!  They were so much fun, we spent a lot of time laughing together.  Plus, we found some lovely wooded spots with a whole bunch of golden leaves to take advantage of.  With such a wonderful couple, their wedding in 2014 is sure to be perfect!

The S Family | Holmen Wisconsin Family Photographer

Despite the rain drops that started to fall during our session, this family was all smiles!  What a joy they were to work with!  We had to make a last minute decision to move their session into our studio due to the incredibly rainy weather, but, luckily, we were able to catch a few minutes of break from the rain in the middle of their session.  So, we snuck outside to the backyard of our studio (a fun perk of our newer Onalaska, WI location) and got some lovely Fall shots.

The 5 members of this family were all so comfortable together, especially when I pushed the limits and asked the kiddos to cuddle close.  But this bear hug resulted in some wonderful expressions - such happiness!  That's what we love to see - a family full of love - our favorite!

The M Family | Holmen Wisconsin Family Photographer

Getting 4 kids together and a dog takes a lot of coordination! We are so happy this family came to us for their family photos. I think we were able to utilize the last warm day with this family.
These kids were so funny and had many faces for the camera. Luckily, they showed us some good smiles as well. One of the kids and the dad made a great bench for the photo shoot as well. So talented!! Thanks again M family for allowing us to take your family photos!

The A Family | Onalaska Wisconsin Family Photographer

These boys are just too much fun!  We've been able to photograph them for the past few years and it's been so exciting watching them grow.  This year, we visited a park again and were able to miss the rain that had monopolized the entire morning and afternoon!  Luckily, these guys were troopers.  They put up with the trees shaking their droplets on us and a bit of a chill factor for some great images!  Check out some of their earlier sessions here and here.

D & M Engagement | Winona Minnesota Wedding Photographer

Such a fun way to spend a Fall afternoon!  We meet D & M in Winona, Minnesota to create their engagement photos.  The sun was absolutely lovely, as well as the gorgeous fall tones.  Other than the temperature being just a bit cooler than we would have preferred, we couldn't have asked for a better environmental set up! 

Many a laughs were shared during their session too!  D & M were very relaxed and really seemed to enjoy their time together.  Plus, they brought along some fun ideas they wanted to try to really add a personal touch to their session - which is always a fun way for our clients to help us express their true personalities!  We can't wait for their 2014 wedding - it's sure to be filled with much laughter and love!

Baby K | Trempealeau Wisconsin Baby Photographer

Little Baby K was nearly two months old when he came in for his session.  He has quite the birth story too!  He was born quite a few weeks early and is just an itty bitty little guy.  But he's made such great strides and is quite a strong, growing boy!  We've been photographing his older siblings for a while and were so excited to hear he was on the way.  We were also thrilled to hear that he was released from the hospital and sent home to his loving family just a bit before his session!

His mom is a First Responder in Trempealeau, WI, so of course we had to do some shots with some of mom's gear!  It's a good thing firefighters aren't as sleepy as Baby K was, but he really wears the red hat well!  Plus, when you spend your time in the tummy of a first responder, you feel totally at home in the uniform!

The H Family | Winona Minnesota Family Photographer

This family was just too cute!  With a whole bunch of little ones, we had quite the fun time in Winona, MN for their session.  With all the personalities and adorable faces - we couldn't help but snap a bunch of individual shots of this brood!  The real excitement came when we brought the family's new puppy into the group.  We actually got a shot with everyone looking our way and it made it all worth while!  Plus, could these guys have picked any better outfits - they all looked so great!

Baby L | Onalaska Wisconsin Baby Photographer

We took advantage of the perfect overcast day and were able to find a little corner out of the wind to take this family's photos. Little six month old L wasn't giving out too many smiles, as it was pretty chilly for him, but that perfect baby face looks cute with or without a smile!

Once we were able to get warmed up in the studio, and he was able to play around with mom and dad, he brought out all of those precious gummy smiles! Playing with daddy's work hat kept him very busy as well. We always love seeing sweet little faces like Mr. L's in the studio. Thanks to his mom and dad for bringing him in!!

The M Family | Onalaska Wisconsin Family Photographer

What a fun family!  They're so full of laughter!  It was actually a bit of a bittersweet moment as they finished their last session in our Baby Steps Plan (they had Little Sister J photographed from newborn through 1 year, with a session every three months to document her growth).  They also recently moved out of town and with over an hour drive to visit our studio, we can only hope to see them and their sweet girls again in the future!  That's the downfall of our job - we get so attached to all the wonderful families that make up our EIP family!  But, we did get to enjoy the lovely Fall weather together!  (To see a little peek into their previous sessions, click here, here, and here).
