Also, we know that YOU are the best representative of YOU and all that you are!  Each year, we find a few seniors that we are so excited to work with and discover that their friends are just as awesome!  So, this year, we're spreading the love and allowing the first two senior girls and first two senior guys from each school to become our Senior Reps for exclusive savings (for you and your friends).  We still have a few spots open make sure to get in touch with us soon to reserve your spot.  (Check out the flyer above to see how our rep program works or check it out on our website.)

I opened my e-mail the other day to this wonderful note from a wedding client!  What a great way to start the workday!  We love to hear such kind compliments from our clients and always enjoy these types of messages!  It's our goal, with each and every client we work with, to make sure they get everything they need from their experience with us.  It makes us so happy and continues to reaffirm our passion for the business of photography when we receive these kinds of e-mails!  (So if you're one of our many clients who've sent such wonderful compliments, don't be surprised if we come calling about featuring your kind words!)

Announcing our 1st annual Jingle Bark Pet Holiday Portrait Event to benefit an animal centered charity!  We'll be working with Marcie's Pet Spa in West Salem.  Call (608) 612-0266 to reserve your spot.  Even your furriest friends need a good portrait - especially when Santa will be visiting!  This event is just a small part of our mission to find creative ways to give back to our community and to those in need through our time and talent.  We want to give back because we have been so blessed in our business and our lives!

The Upcoming Photo Tour | Minneapolis, Minnesota Portrait Photographer

Attention all EIP fans:  we have officially scheduled our photo tour to take place on July 9th & 10th in Minneapolis, MN and the surrounding areas!  If you, or anyone you know, would like to book a session with us while we're in your area, e-mail us at savanna@endlessimagesphotography.com!  You can also keep up with us on our Facebook page!  Session times are booking up quickly, so make sure you schedule yours ASAP.  We're bringing along our travelling studio, so we're open for studio style or location style!  We'll be doing baby, child, family, high school senior, engagement, and pet sessions while on tour, so now is a good time to take advantage of the opportunity!

The "Biggest Baby Show Ever" | La Crosse Wisconsin Family Photographer

Though I was unable to attend "The Biggest Baby Shower Ever" event at the Children's Museum in La Crosse this past Saturday because I was out shooting a wedding in Hillsboro, our marketing coordinator, Nicole, manned our booth and told me all about all the great moms, dads, and kids she met!  We can't wait to meet everyone in the future and look forward to selecting the winners of our drawing!  A free session, an 11x14 wall print, and a CD are all among the prizes that multiple registrants will be winning!  Plus, we have a great special that we offered to those who stopped by our booth involving our Facebook, so we can't wait to get to know everyone!  All in all, one very busy, but very fun weekend!  Now, it's off to bed before a very necessary day of rest on Monday!

Sneak Peek - The Studio | La Crosse Wisconsin Photographer

Here's a little sneak peek into our new studio location!  (Please ignore the poor photo - all I had was my cell phone - couldn't carry my DSLR camera with all the other things I moved in today!)  As you can tell, we don't have any of our wall portrait decorations up and we don't have our backgrounds in yet either, but we're definitely getting excited to see it all coming together!  We can't wait to start seeing our clients here!  Stop by in May when we're officially open to the public!  We even have a great candy jar center piece to satisfy our sweetest clients!  See you there soon!

The Photo Contest | Wisconsin Portrait Photographer

I entered this image into a photo contest through Photographer's Forum and received notice today that it was selected as a finalist!  It's going to be published in a limited edition book entitled Best of College Photography 2011!  I'm so honored and excited!  I thought all my readers and clients out there might like to hear the news as well!  (And a special thanks to Baby E and her family for their contribution - those little baby blues would win anyone over!)

The High School

I had a great time talking with students at West Salem High School today!  The Entrepreneurship Class was awesome and so was the instructor!  I got to meet some awesome students and they asked some great questions!  They were so great (and several students expressed interest in portraits) that I decided to develop a special promotion dedicated to West Salem High School Students and their families!  Book a session sometime during this school year and save!  Just make sure to mention the high school!

The Landscape

I was hired to photograph some land recently and this is one of my favorite shots of the whole bunch!  The client was pleased with the images as well and the session was a blast.  Photographing land is so different than photographing people (obviously)!  I might actually argue that it's a bit harder.  With people, I'm capturing their personalities as they live, but with land, I'm capturing it's essence, it's history!  It doesn't move for my camera, I have to move to get just what I want from it.  It's huge, never ending, absolutely mystifying.  I've photographed various landscapes before, but when you're limited to a specific area, it can be quite daunting!  Luckily, the weather cooperated beautifully, so the lighting was wonderful!  I shot this at "golden hour", just as the sun was sinking below the bluffs that surround this area.  All in all, I'm happy with my shots, but exhausted in a whole new way!
