{Mr. & Mrs. L} La Crosse Wisconsin Wedding Photographer

Wow, wow, wow!  What a beautiful wedding we had the privilege of photographing this summer!  M & J were such a sweet couple and really fun to work with!  Their gorgeous wedding ceremony took place at St. Patrick's Church in Onalaska, WI on a day filled with nothing but blue sky.  Her amazing dress was from Charlotte's Bridal in La Crosse, WI.  She added some extra sparkle with a sparkly pair of earrings and a matching bracelet.  Her beautiful bouquet was created by Cottage Garden Floral in La Crosse, WI.  And the bling - ah, stunning!  They got their rings from Kesslers Diamonds in Milwaukee, WI.  You can tell from her beaming smile as he spoke his vows to her that she was one happy bride!

The hair styling for the ladies was done by Sue Kolve's Salon in Onalaska, WI and they all looked gorgeous!  With tuxes also from Charlotte's Bridal, the whole wedding party was dressed to perfection.  Plus, the blue they included in their wedding colors photographed so well!  We spent some time between their ceremony and reception in La Crosse, near the river.  A good time was had by all and the party truly began!

They choose to have their reception at The Waterfront in La Crosse, WI.  They decorated with beautiful silver sticks and glass vases.  There were even some lovely little name plate charms on the bride and groom's champagne glasses.  Their dinner was simply delicious and supplied by the venue. To round out the meal, their guests were treated to cupcakes from International Bakery in La Crosse, WI.  Just another example of how fun loving this group is - their speeches set the room on fire!  The laughter (and a little embarrassment at moments) evident on their parent's faces say it all!

The dance commenced with a romantic first dance from the couple.  Music was provided by Music Mix of La Crosse (La Crosse, WI).  Our hearts melt each and every time we watch a bride and groom  dance together for the first time on their special day!  We wish M & J a very happy future together as husband and wife!

{Mr. & Mrs. N} Minnesota Wedding Photographer

Wow!  What a fun wedding weekend we had in Minnesota with this lovely couple!  They were so full of excitement and the day turned out very well!  Their adventurous spirits took them on a hike up above a waterfall - which lead to the stunning image above!  Then, we spent the rest of the time we had with them before their ceremony wandering around this gorgeous country property.  

Her bouquet was simply stunning!  It was a very full country style gathering, complete with sunflowers, roses, and many other lovely blooms, berries, pods, and grasses.  She definitely got her workout from carrying it around, but it made the perfect addition to her gorgeous gown!  Plus, it provided a great setting for a quick shot of their wedding bands.  

We always love getting to know a bride and groom and really get a great feel for their personalities when their wedding party is around.  This fun crew was no exception!  The guys inspired lots of laughter that day, cracking jokes every other second.  The ladies were also full of humor and good cheer.  The day went so smoothly because everyone was so open to photos and simply enjoying their time with the couple on such a big day!

Yes, you're seeing that right!  This beautiful bride is not afraid of slimy creatures and wanted to make sure she kissed her last frog before her wedding to her prince!  Her bridesmaids actually captured the little fellow with their bare hands - kudos to those daring gals!  After a few shots (including a real smooch on the frogs nose), they released him safely into the grass near the edge of the pond.  Definitely a first for us as photographers, but we loved the opportunity to catch such a fun and silly shot!

The groomsmen whisked the groom away before the ceremony in one of their favorite trucks, complete with a "burnout".  Then, after a lovely ceremony, the day concluded with a fun and relaxed reception.  We were so excited to have the chance to see this couple (who we've known for quite some time) tie the knot!  We spent some of the wedding as their photographers and some as their guests and we were so happy to be able  to join in the celebration!

{Mr. & Mrs. A} Sparta Wisconsin Wedding Photographer

Mr. & Mrs. A were such a laid back and fun loving couple!  We had a blast capturing the memories of their gorgeous wedding!  First of all, how amazing is her dress?!  She got it from David's Bridal in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.  It fit her wonderfully and really added to the romance of their big day.  With his attire from Men's Warehouse in Onalaska, Wisconsin, he looked just as dapper!  We even avoided the rain that the clouds were threatening to spill until the moment we walked into the reception - it was perfect!

The couple got his wedding band from Rodgers in Valley View Mall (Onalaska, WI) and her band from Zales (also in the mall).  Her engagement ring was from Kays.  Plus, she rocked the beautiful sparkles she wore around her neck!  They did a great job with their colors too - incorporating soft pinks and creams.  There was so much love and laughter this day - it's clear that everyone in attendance was quite happy to witness this couple join their lives together!

Their ceremony was at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sparta, Wisconsin.  We were able to use the church's lovely courtyard for some shots of the guys before the ceremony.  We also snuck the ladies out of hiding for some group shots of them too, after making sure the gentlemen were safely hidden away (no peeking for this groom)!  Plus, they skipped the florist and created their flowers - aren't they beautiful?!

We zipped over to a local park in Sparta for some wedding party and couple shots.  With wonderfully overcast skies providing an amazingly soft light and a very upbeat wedding party - we were able to capture some great shots!  Our bride specifically requested a twirl shot and they definitely knew how to rock it!  The friendship between these two is evident and that's one of the best things to see in a couple in love!

Her beautiful hair and make-up was done by tHairapy in Black River Falls, Wisconsin.  Barrel curls held up her hair in the back while soft tendrils framed her face.  Such a wonderful choice that accented her style perfectly!

They didn't use a caterer or decorator for their wedding and we were just amazed at what they created!  The beautiful cake was adorned with a custom "A" and it was set in front of a sweet, country styled bunting.  Set upon a wooden crate, the cake was surrounded by cupcakes to make sure everyone got their fill of sweets that night.  Add to that, the twigs and lights wrapped around the arch above the cake - it was a beautiful reception decoration.  And their cake feeding - hilarious!  Their reception took place at the American Legion in Sparta, Wisconsin.  Their first dance was full of love (with DJ services by Music Mix of La Crosse, Wisconsin).  

We wish these two a lifetime of happiness and all the best in their future together!

{Mr. & Mrs. K Wedding} Eau Claire Wisconsin Wedding Photographer

Congratulations to the very happy Mr. and Mrs. K on their marriage!  What a gorgeous day it was in Eau Claire, Wisconsin for their afternoon wedding.  We were so happy to have been able to take part in capturing the memories of their big day!

The bride, M, looked absolutely stunning!  With a gorgeous hair piece to accent a lovely undo, he styling was perfect.  She also wore a necklace with the rings of her grandparents.  Her grandparents passed before her wedding day, but she brought along their spirit and memory through their own wedding bands.  What a sentimental and beautiful action!

Plus, how absolutely amazing are their rings?!  They got their rings from Shane Company in Minnesota and they were absolutely the perfect accessory for this wedding!  And,  the groom, D, gave matching Relic watches to the groomsmen.  His watch accessorized his attire wonderfully!

Before the ceremony began, we spent some time at a local park in Eau Claire, WI with the wedding party, separately.  The guys were first, as gentlemen typically take less time to get ready.  Don't they all look quite debonair in their sunglasses?!  Then, the ladies arrive, keeping the bride hidden until the groom was wished away to the church.  The ladies definitely rocked their fierce poses!

Their ceremony took place at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Eau Claire, WI.  It was a lovely, emotion filled service.  Two performers sang beautifully to the couple and the crowd during their sand ceremony.  They even included a moment to greet, hug and thank their parents in the front row.

Afterwards, we visited another park in Eau Claire, WI where we created some lovely images with the wedding party.  The purple and grey tones worked very nicely with the bright outdoor light!  And those flowers - wow!  They were from Eau Claire Floral, Eau Claire, WI and complimented the entire color theme perfectly!  The bride's beautiful dress came from The Wedding Shoppe in St. Paul, MN and her ladies' dresses came from David's Bridal in Eau Claire, WI.  All the suave men's attire came from Men's Warehouse, Eau Claire, WI.  

With a coordinating pair of Air Jordan shoes, D & M were totally in sync for their couple photos.  After the park, the wedding party made a quick stop at a local bar, The Fire House, Eau Claire, WI.  It was quite fun photographing the group as they relaxed for the day in such a neat atmosphere.

Once we arrived at their reception location, we were stunned at how intricate all the fine details of their decoration had come together!  They were using a convention room at The Plaza Hotel and Suites in Eau Claire, WI and it was very well put together.  There were blue and purple tones lighting the room, with flowers, candles, and string lights setting the ambiance.  A candy bar satisfied everyone's sweet tooth craving and was especially frequented by the kiddos in attendance!  They even displayed a special shot from the engagement session we had done last year next to the cake topper that inspired it!  (Their delicious cake was supplied by Simply Cakes, Eau Claire, WI.)

There was just so much joy and merriment - it was clear that everyone was really having a blast celebrating the union of this great couple!  Plus, a very fun DJ (from All Occasions DJ Service in Eau Claire, WI) helped create a very entertaining garter retrieval, bride approved dance and all!  We wish D & M all the best in their future together!

{Mr. and Mrs. C} Onalaska Wisconsin Wedding Photographer

It was a gorgeous day for a Spring wedding in Onalaska, Wisconsin in mid-May!  The bride and groom were both quite happy and rather relaxed as they big day began.  We met them at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Onalaska, where their ceremony took place.  The girls had already finished their styling at Metropolitan Salon and Day Spa in La Crosse and everyone but the bride was dressed.  She had picked out a gorgeous pair of red heels to compliment her stunning dress which was from The Wedding Tree in La Crosse.  Plus, look at those lovely pearls she was rocking!

There were nothing but smiles as her father walked her down the aisle.  After a lovely ceremony in which there was a song performance by a bunch of the groom's cousins, the very happy couple departed - looking totally overjoyed after the announcement of their union!  We left, as a group, for downtown La Crosse, Wisconsin for their group photos.  We began with some sweet and simple couple shots as the wedding party continued the celebrations on their party bus.  Then, we pulled the rest of the group off the bus for some super fun, urban style shots!  They were all just a very fun loving group!  Plus, how great are those beautiful green bouquets from Cottage Garden Floral in La Crosse?!

Then, it was off to their reception at Stoney Creek Inn in Onalaska.  They had a lovely green and black theme accented with natural elements like those gorgeous wooden place card holders!  After a dinner catered by Pogy's Catering in La Crosse and dessert from Linda's Bakery in West Salem, the entire room was filled with laughter during some very entertaining toasts!  Then, to top off a beautiful day, the crowd watched the couple's first dance to music presented by Music Mix of La Crosse.  And they chose to keep things very fun by incorporating both ballroom twirls and hip hop moves into their lovely dance!
