{Mr. & Mrs. N} Minnesota Wedding Photographer

Wow!  What a fun wedding weekend we had in Minnesota with this lovely couple!  They were so full of excitement and the day turned out very well!  Their adventurous spirits took them on a hike up above a waterfall - which lead to the stunning image above!  Then, we spent the rest of the time we had with them before their ceremony wandering around this gorgeous country property.  

Her bouquet was simply stunning!  It was a very full country style gathering, complete with sunflowers, roses, and many other lovely blooms, berries, pods, and grasses.  She definitely got her workout from carrying it around, but it made the perfect addition to her gorgeous gown!  Plus, it provided a great setting for a quick shot of their wedding bands.  

We always love getting to know a bride and groom and really get a great feel for their personalities when their wedding party is around.  This fun crew was no exception!  The guys inspired lots of laughter that day, cracking jokes every other second.  The ladies were also full of humor and good cheer.  The day went so smoothly because everyone was so open to photos and simply enjoying their time with the couple on such a big day!

Yes, you're seeing that right!  This beautiful bride is not afraid of slimy creatures and wanted to make sure she kissed her last frog before her wedding to her prince!  Her bridesmaids actually captured the little fellow with their bare hands - kudos to those daring gals!  After a few shots (including a real smooch on the frogs nose), they released him safely into the grass near the edge of the pond.  Definitely a first for us as photographers, but we loved the opportunity to catch such a fun and silly shot!

The groomsmen whisked the groom away before the ceremony in one of their favorite trucks, complete with a "burnout".  Then, after a lovely ceremony, the day concluded with a fun and relaxed reception.  We were so excited to have the chance to see this couple (who we've known for quite some time) tie the knot!  We spent some of the wedding as their photographers and some as their guests and we were so happy to be able  to join in the celebration!

{Class of 2015 Jared} La Crosse Wisconsin Senior Photographer

This guy rocked his senior shoot a few weekends ago!  He travelled all the way from Indiana and met us while his family was visiting Minnesota for his shoot at a local state park.  Not only was he super easy to work with and very comfortable in front of our camera, he also deserves an award for how calm he kept as hoards (seriously, hoards) of gnats and mosquitos mobbed him!  We were so impressed with his ability to keep his cool as we danced around like circus clowns behind the camera!  But besides the awful amount of bugs that joined us, his shoot went smoothly.  Plus, with his ambitions to join the Army, we were able to get some awesome shots representing the "Army Strong" motto!  Plus, this is the first full session that Trent did under Endless Images Photography since bringing him fully into the business and it only serves to remind us just how much we love his style!

{Mr. & Mrs. K Wedding} Eau Claire Wisconsin Wedding Photographer

Congratulations to the very happy Mr. and Mrs. K on their marriage!  What a gorgeous day it was in Eau Claire, Wisconsin for their afternoon wedding.  We were so happy to have been able to take part in capturing the memories of their big day!

The bride, M, looked absolutely stunning!  With a gorgeous hair piece to accent a lovely undo, he styling was perfect.  She also wore a necklace with the rings of her grandparents.  Her grandparents passed before her wedding day, but she brought along their spirit and memory through their own wedding bands.  What a sentimental and beautiful action!

Plus, how absolutely amazing are their rings?!  They got their rings from Shane Company in Minnesota and they were absolutely the perfect accessory for this wedding!  And,  the groom, D, gave matching Relic watches to the groomsmen.  His watch accessorized his attire wonderfully!

Before the ceremony began, we spent some time at a local park in Eau Claire, WI with the wedding party, separately.  The guys were first, as gentlemen typically take less time to get ready.  Don't they all look quite debonair in their sunglasses?!  Then, the ladies arrive, keeping the bride hidden until the groom was wished away to the church.  The ladies definitely rocked their fierce poses!

Their ceremony took place at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Eau Claire, WI.  It was a lovely, emotion filled service.  Two performers sang beautifully to the couple and the crowd during their sand ceremony.  They even included a moment to greet, hug and thank their parents in the front row.

Afterwards, we visited another park in Eau Claire, WI where we created some lovely images with the wedding party.  The purple and grey tones worked very nicely with the bright outdoor light!  And those flowers - wow!  They were from Eau Claire Floral, Eau Claire, WI and complimented the entire color theme perfectly!  The bride's beautiful dress came from The Wedding Shoppe in St. Paul, MN and her ladies' dresses came from David's Bridal in Eau Claire, WI.  All the suave men's attire came from Men's Warehouse, Eau Claire, WI.  

With a coordinating pair of Air Jordan shoes, D & M were totally in sync for their couple photos.  After the park, the wedding party made a quick stop at a local bar, The Fire House, Eau Claire, WI.  It was quite fun photographing the group as they relaxed for the day in such a neat atmosphere.

Once we arrived at their reception location, we were stunned at how intricate all the fine details of their decoration had come together!  They were using a convention room at The Plaza Hotel and Suites in Eau Claire, WI and it was very well put together.  There were blue and purple tones lighting the room, with flowers, candles, and string lights setting the ambiance.  A candy bar satisfied everyone's sweet tooth craving and was especially frequented by the kiddos in attendance!  They even displayed a special shot from the engagement session we had done last year next to the cake topper that inspired it!  (Their delicious cake was supplied by Simply Cakes, Eau Claire, WI.)

There was just so much joy and merriment - it was clear that everyone was really having a blast celebrating the union of this great couple!  Plus, a very fun DJ (from All Occasions DJ Service in Eau Claire, WI) helped create a very entertaining garter retrieval, bride approved dance and all!  We wish D & M all the best in their future together!

The W Family | Onalaska Wisconsin Family Photographer

It's that time of year, when we get to see all the kiddos we met throughout the year again for some fun Christmas-y portraits!  The W family came prepared with a fun idea to try and we successfully accomplished our shared vision!  Oh what fun!

Plus, how great are these kids?!  They are the big siblings to Baby K who came and visited us about a month prior.  They are so sweet and gentle with their little brother and very attentive.  Their parents have another set of 4 hands ready to help when needed, it was so great to see such a friendly family!  We've gotten to know them quite well this year through many photo sessions and can't wait to see them again in the new year!

Sneak Peek - Baby S | Holmen Wisconsin Baby Photographer

Sweet, sweet slumber...  Baby S tried to stay awake through most of her session, but she did catch a few moments of sleep.  That's our favorite time to work with little ones.  She was so peaceful, all curled up in a swaddled blanket and was just about the most adorable little lady you could lay eyes on.  With her lovely light caramel colored skin and her deep colored hair, she's a teeny tiny beauty!

But, good looks run in the family - just check out her big brother!  He's just too funny and full of energy!  And he's got lashes that extend for days!  (Needless to say, I wish I had lashes like his!)  But the gentleness he used when snuggling his sister was just beautiful!

The best part of the session, getting to re-create a maternity pose with the baby who inspired the shot!  Check out more of Baby S's tummy session here.

Sneak Peek - Mommy-to-be N | West Salem Wisconsin Maternity Photographer

Believe it or not, this photo session took place on this mommy-to-be's due date!  Luckily, she made it through the shoot and there's still no sign of the little one!  Her little girl is going to be so welcomed into this wonderful home; she already has a closet full of tiny little pink clothes and tons of tiny little shoes!  I can't wait to meet her and hopefully create some images of her!  Her parents are great people and I'm sure she'll be just a happy little lady!  Thanks for letting me document the last few moments of such a precious time in life N & J!

The Sun's Faces

Sometimes some of the best images come from these abstract, high contrast situations.  I absolutely love finding these situations!  I'm working on putting together a course called Black & White Technique all about learning how to "see" in black and white and how to post-process specifically for black and white.  I almost wish there were some sort of contact lenses out there that would allow a person to only see in black and white (and shades of gray).  I think that'd be awesome to try for a day (although, I absolutely freak out just putting eye drops in my eye, so I probably couldn't enjoy them anyways)!  For now, we photographers just have to settle with teaching our minds to view the world in monochromatic colors!

Mmmmm...  I actually ate all these props!  They were delicious too!  And that's about all I have to say!  =)  (And, Happy Oktoberfest!)

The Berries

Here's another diptych I arranged.  I love the look of these berries on the tree as the Fall weather rolls in.  I added a bit of a soft, bright light and a slight discoloring technique that I think lends itself nicely to the feel of this fresh image.  We'll see what other images I can combine for diptychs later.  I'm working on shooting specifically for this type of arrangement so I'll have a creative idea already prepared before the post-shoot work begins!

The Diptych

Here's a diptych I've been working on for some time.  I've decided to give myself a little project (as if finishing my degree and teaching some courses at the local community college and keeping busy with EIP photo shoots isn't giving me enough work)!  I'm going to begin a few small series of diptychs (two photographs put side by side).  As I go, if I end up with some cool ones, I'll make sure to post them.  For now, this is my first. 

Also, if you haven't already noticed, I've changed my logo once more.  I actually have an idea for a small modification I'll be making to this new one.  Once that's done, I'll be settled.  That'll be my logo for a while and I'll go ahead and get a new batch of business cards with that one on it!
