{L Family} La Crosse Wisconsin Photographer

Oh my goodness - these boys were just too fun! They were laughing up a storm, at each other's antics and at mom's awesome dancing skills! Despite the heat, this family was relaxed and seemed to really enjoy spending time together. That's what we love to photograph. Nothing beats a family full of joy. We took advantage of the gorgeous green park and took advantage of the lovely late afternoon light! This family is still a bit new to Wisconsin and, with dad currently one of our country's military members, they are already predicting their next move. What a fun adventure!

{Baby C} Caledonia Minnesota Baby Photographer

Baby C was absolutely adorable when he came in for a visit! At 6 weeks new, we expected him to give us a bit of a challenge. But he was just as sleepy and scrunchy as his newborn counterparts! He snuggled into the soft fur and slept through most of his session. But clearly, he comes from a very easy going family as his two older sisters were just as wonderful to photograph! Plus, anyone who wears a bow tie and sweater for their photos gets a thumbs up in our books! We hope to see him and his fun family as he grows up!

{The G Family} Onalaska Wisconsin Family Photographer

What a seriously fun family we had in the studio the past week! They were full of silliness and smiles - just what we love! We've actually seen them before and have really enjoyed getting to know them. Dad nearly missed this session due to a military deployment but the scheduled changed, so luckily, her was there to join in on all the excitement. Plus, are those not the most darling faces?!

{The H Sisters} La Crescent Minnesota Family Photographer

Sisters! What a fun pairing! They're built in best friends and it's just too cute! These little ladies were no exception. They were so happy and silly, it really made for a fun shoot! At 3 and 7 years old, they were full of personality. We really enjoyed getting to know them and their parents! We even snuck in a few silly shots at the end of their session, but nothing beat this hug - such a beautiful moment!

{The J Family} Holmen Wisconsin Photographer

Oh my, oh my, oh my! Can this darling little lady model vintage or what?! Not only does she come prepared with the cutest lace romper and feather headband, but then, she brings along her own strand of pearls too! Clearly, accessorizing is her forte (with a little help from her mom). Plus, she is the first to use one of our new seats, which suits her perfectly! Then, add to all this cuteness, her adorable big brother. We've been photographing this family for a while now (since before this little lady was even here) and they're always a blast. {Baby E & Big Sister E} Onalaska Wisconsin Baby Photographer

Smiles, smiles, and more smiles! Baby E brought her A game to her six month session! Combine that with those big baby blues and that sweet, creamy baby skin - ah, she had us shooting up a storm! It may sound goofy, but I seriously love the baby stage when they discover their toes and find out what fun chew toys their ten little piglets are. I try to capture that whenever I can because it makes for such cute images and it's such a fleeting moment! Big Sister E joined in for a few shots, rocking some adorable pigtails! We've see here a few times since meeting her parents (she joined mom and dad for mom's maternity shoot) and it's always fun, even if we experience a toddler tantrum or two!

{Ms. W} Onalaska Wisconsin Photographer

How stunning is this gorgeous lady?! In need of some updated head shots, the lovely Ms. W visited our studio a few weekends ago. She really let us take the reigns and include a few fun sassy shots (in addition to the traditional business shots - not featured here). It is always so much fun working with her! She's actually my (Savanna) sister and is always helping us around the studio, at expos and behind-the-scenes! Plus, with those gorgeous dark eyes and all around confident beauty, we've enlisted her more than once as a model for our new backgrounds, lighting gear, props, etc. Just a day behind, but Happy Sibling Day!

{The B Family} Tomah Wisconsin Family Photographer

These two boys are just full of giggles! Even when Little Brother H brought out some crocodile tears, they were still just too cute. Their dad is a member of the military and they were home for a visit so his mom decided to sneak the family in for a quick shoot. Plus, how gorgeous is the Lovely A in the shot below?! Snuggle shots with parents are too fun not to shoot when the kids are preoccupied for minute!

{Little B & Little P} La Crosse Wisconsin Family Photographer

Could these two get any cuter?! We have had so much fun watching these two siblings grow over the years. Plus, their mom earns herself a huge gold star every time they visit! She will jump around, go in for tickles, even stack stuff on her head to keep the kiddos entertained - and it works! The first time she visited us (for Little B's toddler session 2-ish years ago), she was pregnant with Little P and did so much jumping around and running after her adorable little boy that I thought she might just have her 2nd right there in the studio! Plus, who can resist the very real faces these two give us, especially when asked to stand next to one another!

Such a fun and goofy day we had in the studio with this family. Mom and Dad were great at snuggling together as a family and the laughter was evident with the tootsie tickles arrived! But, big brother really knew the secret for getting his little sister to smile. All he had to do was scream at the top of his lungs and she would burst out in the sweetest giggles and fullest belly laughs! Definitely a first for us but a trick we'll remember for the future! But, how could this little princess not smile when wrapped up in pearls and a tutu - she's just too darling!

The W Family | Onalaska Wisconsin Family Photographer

It's that time of year, when we get to see all the kiddos we met throughout the year again for some fun Christmas-y portraits! The W family came prepared with a fun idea to try and we successfully accomplished our shared vision! Oh what fun!

Plus, how great are these kids?! They are the big siblings to Baby K who came and visited us about a month prior. They are so sweet and gentle with their little brother and very attentive. Their parents have another set of 4 hands ready to help when needed, it was so great to see such a friendly family! We've gotten to know them quite well this year through many photo sessions and can't wait to see them again in the new year!

The B Family | Onalaska Wisconsin Family Photographer

Aren't these kids adorable? Older brother B and his twins sisters C and E were a bit shy in front of the camera at first, but once daddy started making faces at them, they were all smiles. When daddy being goofy wasn't working anymore, we had to get out the candy! Everyone was delighted with the colorful suckers in their hands! The B family's three kids all have such different personalities. But, their relationship with one another is fantastic. This family sure kept us on our toes and we loved every minute of it!

The S Family | Holmen Wisconsin Family Photographer

Despite the rain drops that started to fall during our session, this family was all smiles! What a joy they were to work with! We had to make a last minute decision to move their session into our studio due to the incredibly rainy weather, but, luckily, we were able to catch a few minutes of break from the rain in the middle of their session. So, we snuck outside to the backyard of our studio (a fun perk of our newer Onalaska, WI location) and got some lovely Fall shots.

The 5 members of this family were all so comfortable together, especially when I pushed the limits and asked the kiddos to cuddle close. But this bear hug resulted in some wonderful expressions - such happiness! That's what we love to see - a family full of love - our favorite!

The M Family | Holmen Wisconsin Family Photographer

Getting 4 kids together and a dog takes a lot of coordination! We are so happy this family came to us for their family photos. I think we were able to utilize the last warm day with this family.
These kids were so funny and had many faces for the camera. Luckily, they showed us some good smiles as well. One of the kids and the dad made a great bench for the photo shoot as well. So talented!! Thanks again M family for allowing us to take your family photos!

The A Family | Onalaska Wisconsin Family Photographer

These boys are just too much fun! We've been able to photograph them for the past few years and it's been so exciting watching them grow. This year, we visited a park again and were able to miss the rain that had monopolized the entire morning and afternoon! Luckily, these guys were troopers. They put up with the trees shaking their droplets on us and a bit of a chill factor for some great images! Check out some of their earlier sessions here and here.

The H Family | Winona Minnesota Family Photographer

This family was just too cute! With a whole bunch of little ones, we had quite the fun time in Winona, MN for their session. With all the personalities and adorable faces - we couldn't help but snap a bunch of individual shots of this brood! The real excitement came when we brought the family's new puppy into the group. We actually got a shot with everyone looking our way and it made it all worth while! Plus, could these guys have picked any better outfits - they all looked so great!

The M Family | Onalaska Wisconsin Family Photographer

What a fun family! They're so full of laughter! It was actually a bit of a bittersweet moment as they finished their last session in our Baby Steps Plan (they had Little Sister J photographed from newborn through 1 year, with a session every three months to document her growth). They also recently moved out of town and with over an hour drive to visit our studio, we can only hope to see them and their sweet girls again in the future! That's the downfall of our job - we get so attached to all the wonderful families that make up our EIP family! But, we did get to enjoy the lovely Fall weather together! The C Family | Holmen Wisconsin Family Photographer

We had so much fun with this family on the day of their photo shoot, even though the weather outside was a bit chilly and windy! We were able to sneak outside out studio and take advantage of the last of the fall weather, before winter sets in. This brother and sister have a such a great relationship which we definitely saw in their images. We are so lucky to have such great families as clients!!

Plus, with how great are these outfits?! Perfect tones for the fall scenery. Plus, the awesome deep greens, dark reds, and vibrant yellows that nature provided really helps this family pop in their images. All in all, great way to spend a session on a dreary day!

With Dad getting ready to deploy for his military service, this family snuck in a photo session to create some loving and fun memories! We absolutely love military families (being from one myself) and always have such respect for our men and women in uniform. These guys were just too cute! With little ones rocking Dad's hat and cuddly family moments in the park, we got some very fun shots! Plus, can you beat a baby wearing dog tags?! We wish the whole family and quick, easy going and safe deployment.

The J Family | Holmen Wisconsin Family Photographer

A big comfy bed and a cuddly, cozy family - yes please! There's just something about family snuggles that warm our hearts. Especially when there are such adorable kiddos involved! We've been photographing this family even before little sister arrived and it's been so great watching them grow!

We met for their session at their home in Holmen, WI. What an amazing backyard they have, with grass and trees as far as the eye can see! It made for a lovely setting and the kids really seemed to enjoy being in their natural environment. Big Brother A is already 4 and Little Sister S is 6 months, so they're quite the fun combo to photograph. They both have such stunning eyes you just can't help but capture adorable looks from them each time the shutter clicks!
