Sneak Peek - Baby B | Onalaska Wisconsin Baby Photographer

Little boys are made of frogs and snails and puppy dog tails; at least that's how we're going to phrase it for this little guy.  Not only is he a tough cop on the mean streets of Onalaska (I've been so lucky lately to be able to photograph some of the cute kiddos of La Crosse and Onalaska's finest), he's also a family guy who loves to spend a quality day in the park with Mom and Dad!  His dad caught that little frog for him, but he was a bit more interested in poking and squishing it than holding it!  But, he made it through the 90 degree heat and helped me get a whole bunch of adorable shots.  And, his mom, who I met when she enrolled in a few of my courses I teach at Western Technical College, is also currently assisting me on a big charity photo project we're working on for a local radio station (95.7 The Rock).  The three of them are such a wonderful family, I can't wait to see more of baby B as he gets bigger!

The Note to Lovebirds | La Crosse Wisconsin Photographer

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, it's time for all the love birds to fly over to our studio for a visit!  Little ones - create personalized cards to hand out to all your friends, couples - document your love and happiness, ladies - give him a gift that will knock his socks off and remind yourself of just how gorgeous you truly are!  There are a billion reasons for photographs this upcoming Day of Love - so whatever your reason, we can't wait to see you!  (P.S. - Don't forget to sign up for our newsletter (below, bottom of page) to get info on our latest ideas and specials!)

Sneak Peek - B & J Engagement | La Crosse Wisconsin Engagement Photographer

What a wonderful day we had today with this couple!  We photographed an expo for 95.7 The Rock, then took off to meet with B & J, a couple who just booked a wedding with us.  They were so fun to work with - relaxed with a sense of humor, it was great!  The sky was slightly overcast, the temps were higher than they'd been all week, and the outfits they choose matched beautifully with the woodsy feel of late Fall.  It was kind of like a photographer's dream come true!  Other than all the awesome photos we got, I had a bit of a crazy afternoon!  I realized when I got to my studio that I had forgotten all my camera cards at home with my laptop.  Then, I got done shooting the expo and realized that I didn't bring along my socks for the boots I had to change into.  I think my memory is slipping!  But, nonetheless, things ended up working out and it was a quite a fun day/evening!

The Calendar Shoots - Ms. A | La Crosse Wisconsin Commercial Photographer

A while back we did a bunch of shoots for 95.7 The Rock's annual charity calendar to benefit The Rock Foundation.  It was such a blast!  We worked with an awesome group of lovely models and got to shoot at a bunch of fun places!  It was really a neat experience and a great way to utilize the skills we don't get to use as much with the kiddos and such - our senior photography skills came in much more handy for this type of assignment!  This one has kind of a funny story with it - I locked my keys in the car right before the shoot and had only grabbed my camera plus one flash before closing the door so we were getting creative!  I think I should lock away more of my equipment every day!  Kidding, luckily I grabbed what I really wanted to use anyway, but it was a bit of an adventure!  =)  Anyway, we'll slowly be putting up some of the best images, including a bunch of the ones featured in the calendar.  This was from the first of 12 shoots (when it was still warm enough to stand in the water) and we can't wait to share more as time goes on!
