{M Family} La Crosse Wisconsin Family Photographer

Does this crew know how to rock a family shoot or what?! They were such a tight knit group, letting us get some close family shots despite the soaring temps that day! They were all so wonderful to chat with and to photograph, a real joy of a family. We may have finished off 20 bottles of water that afternoon, but there's not a drop of sweat visible. We ended with a fun filled cool down in the Mississippi where there was even more laughter. All in all, not a bad way to spend a sweltering late summer day!

{L Family} La Crosse Wisconsin Photographer

Oh my goodness - these boys were just too fun! They were laughing up a storm, at each other's antics and at mom's awesome dancing skills! Despite the heat, this family was relaxed and seemed to really enjoy spending time together. That's what we love to photograph. Nothing beats a family full of joy. We took advantage of the gorgeous green park and took advantage of the lovely late afternoon light! This family is still a bit new to Wisconsin and, with dad currently one of our country's military members, they are already predicting their next move. What a fun adventure!

{Baby C} Caledonia Minnesota Baby Photographer

Baby C was absolutely adorable when he came in for a visit! At 6 weeks new, we expected him to give us a bit of a challenge. But he was just as sleepy and scrunchy as his newborn counterparts! He snuggled into the soft fur and slept through most of his session. But clearly, he comes from a very easy going family as his two older sisters were just as wonderful to photograph! Plus, anyone who wears a bow tie and sweater for their photos gets a thumbs up in our books! We hope to see him and his fun family as he grows up!

What a seriously fun family we had in the studio the past week! They were full of silliness and smiles - just what we love! We've actually seen them before and have really enjoyed getting to know them. Dad nearly missed this session due to a military deployment but the scheduled changed, so luckily, her was there to join in on all the excitement. Plus, are those not the most darling faces?!

{The H Sisters} La Crescent Minnesota Family Photographer

Sisters! What a fun pairing! They're built in best friends and it's just too cute! These little ladies were no exception. They were so happy and silly, it really made for a fun shoot! At 3 and 7 years old, they were full of personality. We really enjoyed getting to know them and their parents! We even snuck in a few silly shots at the end of their session, but nothing beat this hug - such a beautiful moment!

{A Family} Holmen Wisconsin Family Photographer

These boys - they are just too cute! We've gotten to know them and their parents over the years (since before the little handsome man was even born) and it's really been a joy! Mom is a photographer herself, so we always sneak in a little shutterbug chat afterwards. The best part about this fun loving crew - they are always full of the family spirit. Even after a few tears in the beginning (we won't name names!), they managed to bring forth the giggles with some tomfoolery! Luckily, mom and dad keep up quite well with these active little fellows!

Such a handsome fellow! We've had the pleasure of photographing Little L for quite a while and it's always an adventure with him! He's going to be a big brother soon so his parent's made sure to sneak in a session with us before their newest little family member arrives. We hope she'll be just like him, because he was so happy and easy to photograph. We spent most of his session laughing together, which, to anyone who knows us, is one of our favorite pastimes! A gorgeous day with a wonderful family is not a bad way to spend part of our weekend in La Crosse, Wisconsin!

{The Lovely Miss L} Tomah Wisconsin Senior Photographer

Oh. My. Gosh! How gorgeous is this lady?! We had the pleasure of spending some time over the holiday weekend with her and the rest of my husband's family (she is my brother-in-law's girlfriend). Of course, I couldn't resist asking her if she'd pose for me and my camera! (Everyone in my family and many of my friends have discovered that, at some point in their relationship with me, I will ask them to model for me!) She has these gorgeous tattoos on her shoulders/back. She's also a very organic person, enjoying nature and the Earth's offerings. So naturally, when the inspiration of natural styled images struck, she was the first one I turned to! We spent about 30 minutes before her shoot doing some natural, nude based make-up and a lovely french braid that swept rather haphazardly along the back of her head and fell into a low side ponytail over her shoulder. I was so happy how feminine and smooth her look was and how her stunning green eyes blended with the amazing foilage we found in Tomah, Wisconsin! All in all, she was a happy model and I was a happy photographer!

{Baby E} La Crosse Wisconsin Baby Photographer

Baby E is the sweetest little man! He always brings his happy personality along for the sessions in his Baby Steps Plan. This time, he even showed off his lung capacity with his newly acquired skill of high pitched baby squeal! Add in some adorably goofy smiles, some fun spit bubbles, and a very loving mom and dad and we had the perfect combination for a fun shoot. Plus, a rocking mini hat on a bare baby just amps up the cuteness! We were even able to avoid the rainy weather Wisconsin has been having here in Onalaska and La Crosse lately. We snuck out to our studio's backyard for a portion of his session, then made it back indoors without even a drop of rain on us. All in all, we'd chalk this one up to another successful session!

{Brothers J & K} Onalaska Wisconsin Family Photographer

What a sweet family we had in the studio the other day! Baby K is the newest addition to their wonderful group, begin just a month old! And Big Brother J was quite good at his job! Between keeping a watchful eye over his little brother and sneaking in snuggles with him whenever he found a chance, there was definitely a lot of love going around. We just can't get enough of families that like to relax during their sessions and bring some personality with them! These guys definitely rocked it!

{Baby M} Onalaska Wisconsin Baby Photographer

What a little darling! We visited Baby M in his house as he was about 2 weeks new. His parents were overjoyed to have him join them and it was very clear that this little guy is loved! Not only was he an excellent sleeper (sleeping through the majority of his session) he was also the cutest little fisherman I've ever seen! His mom had all these fishing themed items she wanted to see in his photo and they came together wonderfully. Combine that with his absolutely adorable sleepy face and his snuggles with mom and dad - ah, I was a happy photographer!

Such a wonderfully sweet family we worked with the past weekend! They're actually just passing though this area where they have family while Dad prepares for a deployment. Then, they'll be on their way to Hawaii (where we spent 12 years)! What a fun coincidence and what an exciting adventure! We love working with our military families and we so happy to meet their 2 month old son, Baby L. He was such a trooper, putting up with the bit of chill in the air and definitely enjoying his cuddle time with Mom and Dad! We wish this awesome family safe travels and hope to run into them again in the future!

Oh my, oh my, oh my! Can this darling little lady model vintage or what?! Not only does she come prepared with the cutest lace romper and feather headband, but then, she brings along her own strand of pearls too! Clearly, accessorizing is her forte (with a little help from her mom). Plus, she is the first to use one of our new seats, which suits her perfectly! Then, add to all this cuteness, her adorable big brother. We've been photographing this family for a while now (since before this little lady was even here) and they're always a blast. {Baby E & Big Sister E} Onalaska Wisconsin Baby Photographer

Smiles, smiles, and more smiles! Baby E brought her A game to her six month session! Combine that with those big baby blues and that sweet, creamy baby skin - ah, she had us shooting up a storm! It may sound goofy, but I seriously love the baby stage when they discover their toes and find out what fun chew toys their ten little piglets are. I try to capture that whenever I can because it makes for such cute images and it's such a fleeting moment! Big Sister E joined in for a few shots, rocking some adorable pigtails! We've see here a few times since meeting her parents (she joined mom and dad for mom's maternity shoot) and it's always fun, even if we experience a toddler tantrum or two!

How stunning is this gorgeous lady?! In need of some updated head shots, the lovely Ms. W visited our studio a few weekends ago. She really let us take the reigns and include a few fun sassy shots (in addition to the traditional business shots - not featured here). It is always so much fun working with her! She's actually my (Savanna) sister and is always helping us around the studio, at expos and behind-the-scenes! Plus, with those gorgeous dark eyes and all around confident beauty, we've enlisted her more than once as a model for our new backgrounds, lighting gear, props, etc. Just a day behind, but Happy Sibling Day!

{Baby K} La Crosse Wisconsin Baby Photographer

Baby A came to us with her parents for a newborn shoot the other day. Just a bit older than our usual newborn clients, this lovely little one month old was quite the cooperative photo subject! She simply adored her mom and dad (such sweet, sweet moments) and even broke a little smile in her sleep! The best part about her session though, had to be witness to the mass amount of love this family had. We are suckers for a cute baby, but a family with such joy surrounding their new arrival gets us every time!

{Little B & Little P} La Crosse Wisconsin Family Photographer

Could these two get any cuter?! We have had so much fun watching these two siblings grow over the years. Plus, their mom earns herself a huge gold star every time they visit! She will jump around, go in for tickles, even stack stuff on her head to keep the kiddos entertained - and it works! The first time she visited us (for Little B's toddler session 2-ish years ago), she was pregnant with Little P and did so much jumping around and running after her adorable little boy that I thought she might just have her 2nd right there in the studio! Plus, who can resist the very real faces these two give us, especially when asked to stand next to one another!

{Soon-To-Be-Parents A & T} La Crescent Minnesota Maternity Photographer

Such a very sweet couple! A & T are expecting their first baby in just about a month and took advantage of a rare warm day this winter to sneak in some maternity shots. We worked with them on their wedding day and later, saw soon-to-be-mama A in the photo classes we teach! It's so wonderful to come full circle with this fun couple and see them bring a new life into the world. Plus, doesn't A know how to rock a very cute baby bump or what?!

{The E Family} Onalaska Wisconsin Family Photographer

What big eyes this little lady has! She is just such an adorable little lady. This is the second time Little R has visited the studio with her family and it's always such fun when they stop by! Big brother D is just too cute too - with those cute dimples when he smiles! This time, mom got a few head shots she needed for business as well, so we had quite the robust session. All in all - wonderful visit from a wonderful family!
