{Mr. & Mrs. N} Minnesota Wedding Photographer

Wow!  What a fun wedding weekend we had in Minnesota with this lovely couple!  They were so full of excitement and the day turned out very well!  Their adventurous spirits took them on a hike up above a waterfall - which lead to the stunning image above!  Then, we spent the rest of the time we had with them before their ceremony wandering around this gorgeous country property.  

Her bouquet was simply stunning!  It was a very full country style gathering, complete with sunflowers, roses, and many other lovely blooms, berries, pods, and grasses.  She definitely got her workout from carrying it around, but it made the perfect addition to her gorgeous gown!  Plus, it provided a great setting for a quick shot of their wedding bands.  

We always love getting to know a bride and groom and really get a great feel for their personalities when their wedding party is around.  This fun crew was no exception!  The guys inspired lots of laughter that day, cracking jokes every other second.  The ladies were also full of humor and good cheer.  The day went so smoothly because everyone was so open to photos and simply enjoying their time with the couple on such a big day!

Yes, you're seeing that right!  This beautiful bride is not afraid of slimy creatures and wanted to make sure she kissed her last frog before her wedding to her prince!  Her bridesmaids actually captured the little fellow with their bare hands - kudos to those daring gals!  After a few shots (including a real smooch on the frogs nose), they released him safely into the grass near the edge of the pond.  Definitely a first for us as photographers, but we loved the opportunity to catch such a fun and silly shot!

The groomsmen whisked the groom away before the ceremony in one of their favorite trucks, complete with a "burnout".  Then, after a lovely ceremony, the day concluded with a fun and relaxed reception.  We were so excited to have the chance to see this couple (who we've known for quite some time) tie the knot!  We spent some of the wedding as their photographers and some as their guests and we were so happy to be able  to join in the celebration!

{Miss A's Styled Shoot} La Crosse Wisconsin Photographer

Little Miss A is just too sweet!  She's been one of our go to models as her mom and I are friends - but she never disappoints!  She rocked it at demonstrating our loose snow white/sleeping beauty theme that we had in mind.  We got the chance to try out our new lace crown (one of our favorite new props).  Plus, the sun at the park was absolutely stunning!  We couldn't have asked for a better turnout to this styled shoot!

The Preggo Sisters | Onalaska Wisconsin Maternity Photographer

These three lovely sisters came in to the studio the other day with three little ones (in the making)!  Two of the lovely mommies-to-be are full sisters and one is a sister-in-law; they were quite the fun group of ladies!  With three different stages of pregnancy and three adorable ultra-sound photos, these babies are sure to be surrounded by a happy family!  Can you even begin to imagine how fun the holidays will be with all these newborns?!

Sneak Peek - Baby C | Onalaska Wisconsin Baby Photographer

Sneak Peek - Sisters M & E | La Crosse Wisconsin Child Photographer

While doing some shoots for the upcoming issue of Coulee Parenting Connection, I met these two sisters.  They're only two years apart, about the same as my sister and I!  They were too funny together!  Big sister M was along for little sister E's shoot, but we couldn't resist pulling her in for some joint shots and a few silly faces!  I know that having a sister who is close in age is so wonderful and despite the bickering that ultimately occurs, it's having a built in best friend for life!  I got the feeling that these two are just as close as my sister and I and I hope to get the chance to photograph them again!

Sneak Peek - The S Family | Owatonna Minnesota Family Photographer

Yes, you're seeing right, we had a fun park day with 14 people!  This family was too much fun!  Grandparents, parents, and a bunch of awesome kids; we definitely had an adventure!  We were out on a Frisbee Golf Course and were lucky enough to find a quite spot in the corner do some photos.  One of these people (the lovely pregnant one) is an old friend from Hawaii (we were cheerleading buddies together) and it was so great to see her again!  She, her husband, and their little daughter were up in Minnesota visiting his family and she asked if I'd be interested in doing some family photos for them - so, of course, I couldn't resist!  What a thrill it was to catch up a bit and to work with such a relaxed and fun family! 

Sneak Peek - Miss S & Miss J | La Crosse Wisconsin Glamour Photographer

Lovely S & J stopped by last weekend for a shoot and we had a blast together!  They are best friends (I get the feeling they've been friends for quite some time) and they are just too much fun to be around!  Plus, they were so open to all these fun ideas I've been wanting to try out and they were the perfect people to do it with!  My mom gave these butterflies to me for my studio a while ago and I was just waiting for the right chance to use them.  I think I may need to get some more!  I almost forgot just how much I enjoy glamour photography, so I'll have to start pursuing that a bit more from now on!  Anyway, I'm enjoying working on these two lovely ladies' images just as much as I enjoyed photographing them!  I hope they stop in again soon!

Sneak Peek - The Bubble Gum Besties | West Salem Wisconsin Glamour Photographer

How fun are these two?!  These two best friends visited us today in the studio!  We had a bit of difficulty with the bubble gum (it was in the air conditioning and it was a bit hard to chew) but sore jaws aside, they blew some awesome (and some not so awesome but equally fun) bubbles!  We also did a ton of other fun shots, so stay tuned!  We even got some butterflies in the action!  I'm so excited to work on them and these girls were just great to work with!
