I opened my e-mail the other day to this wonderful note from a wedding client!  What a great way to start the workday!  We love to hear such kind compliments from our clients and always enjoy these types of messages!  It's our goal, with each and every client we work with, to make sure they get everything they need from their experience with us.  It makes us so happy and continues to reaffirm our passion for the business of photography when we receive these kinds of e-mails!  (So if you're one of our many clients who've sent such wonderful compliments, don't be surprised if we come calling about featuring your kind words!)

Sneak Peek - Sisters E & E | Onalaska Wisconsin Child Photographer

Have you ever seen a cuter pair of sisters?!  These two little ladies are fairly close in age and are just about the cutest little playmates I have ever seen!  I've photographed them consistently since big sister E was a newborn and it's been so exciting watching them grow together.  This is truly one of the biggest joys of my line of work and my art form!

There's just something so beautiful and amazing about pregnancy - especially in silhouette!  This mom-to-be had a wonderfully round tummy and it made for wonderful photos!  Plus, her husband was so excited and involved with her and her pregnancy - it was just a great experience getting to meet and photograph this couple!  Our style truly reflects our belief in simple, clean photo design that allow our client's personality to shine through.  The monochromatic image above is no exception, allowing for an image that is creative, full of emotion, and personal.  I must say, I love my career!

Sneak Peek - Baby E | Minnesota Baby Photographer

Wow!  The flexibility Baby E has was awesome!  These little hands weren't just holding that little foot; those little toes were in that mouth just a split second later!  It was so much fun to watch her play with the most convenient toy - her own feet!  And she was perfectly happy doing so!  I wonder what I could do if I had that kind of flexibility?  I could be an acrobat photographer!  Plus, look at the gorgeous baby blues on this little lady!  I photographed her sister a while back when she was about this age (9 months) and she had the same lovely eyes - just gorgeous!  We have one more session to go before Baby E (and her parents) complete our Baby Steps Program.  We've had so much fun together, but I always get a bit sad when these little EIP VIPs turn one and don't visit me quite as much!  I get so connected to them as they grow up in front of my lens - what an amazing experience!

Sneak Peek - Little O | Minnesota Child Photographer

Look at the giant smile on this little guys face!  We actually travelled to Minnesota the other weekend for a few photo shoots; Little O and his family were on the agenda!  He's actually from Texas, they were just up visiting Minnesota, and his older siblings live in Ecuador, but they were also visiting Minnesota.  It was a great opportunity to get all the brothers and sisters together for photos!  I'm sure the excitement of having his big brother and big sisters with him inspired this awesome smile!

We photographed a wonderful couple yesterday who are expecting their first child!  Their excitement about their soon-to-arrive (due later this month) miracle was clear in every smile!  And what wonderful parents they will be!  They're both such friendly, easy-going people; their session was a breeze!  I just can't wait to meet little baby E whenever she decides to arrive!

Another birthday celebration in the studio - which means another cake smash!  We just love photographing the experience of these little one-year-olds figuring out just what to do with a whole cake/cupcake for themselves!  It's not often, in young lives, that there's quite this much sugar and yumminess at your fingertips (literally)!  Some tiny hands dive right in, grabbing gobs of cake and gooey frosting, then stuffing it into those little mouths.  Some small fingers barely smudge the frosting before the tears start flowing.  Then, others, like this little one, begin cautiously and, after discovering the sweet joy that is cake and frosting, take on the serious task of devouring the deliciousness in front of them.  Whatever the method, it's always quite a sight to be seen!

What a lovely little holiday dress Little Miss O wore!  She was full of energy and giant smiles for her shoot and that made it super fun!  I remember all the pretty dresses my mom dressed my sister and I in as we were growing up - they're just too cute!
