Sneak Peek - Coulee Christian (soon-to-be) Senior, J | La Crosse Wisconsin High School Senior Photographer

Tonight, J, an upcoming senior at Coulee Christian, visited the studio today and we had a blast!  He's quite the musician and I got a few mini concerts during the shoot!  Too bad we didn't have a chance to plug in the amp and really rock out!  But, we did take advantage of this great brick wall near the studio and got a little attention from passers-by!  So far, I've met some very awesome students in the class of 2012 - I think they're going to be a great bunch by the time they all reach graduation!

Sneak Peek - Miss S & Miss J | La Crosse Wisconsin Glamour Photographer

Lovely S & J stopped by last weekend for a shoot and we had a blast together!  They are best friends (I get the feeling they've been friends for quite some time) and they are just too much fun to be around!  Plus, they were so open to all these fun ideas I've been wanting to try out and they were the perfect people to do it with!  My mom gave these butterflies to me for my studio a while ago and I was just waiting for the right chance to use them.  I think I may need to get some more!  I almost forgot just how much I enjoy glamour photography, so I'll have to start pursuing that a bit more from now on!  Anyway, I'm enjoying working on these two lovely ladies' images just as much as I enjoyed photographing them!  I hope they stop in again soon!

Sneak Peek - The Bubble Gum Besties | West Salem Wisconsin Glamour Photographer

How fun are these two?!  These two best friends visited us today in the studio!  We had a bit of difficulty with the bubble gum (it was in the air conditioning and it was a bit hard to chew) but sore jaws aside, they blew some awesome (and some not so awesome but equally fun) bubbles!  We also did a ton of other fun shots, so stay tuned!  We even got some butterflies in the action!  I'm so excited to work on them and these girls were just great to work with!

Sneak Peek - The B sisters | New Market Minnesota Child Photographer

These sisters remind me so much of my own sister and I when we were that age!  (The little sister, especially, reminds me of my younger sister in personality and a bit in looks too!)  I had a blast with these two little girls and they were quite the characters!  Their mom did a great job picking out coordinating outfits without having them do the typical matching, which was great!  The best part is, they're very good sisters to each other but they each have their own unique personality and it was too much fun getting to capture their personalities in my camera!

The Little Farmer (Sneak Peek - Little E) | Lonsdale Minnesota Child Photographer

I had the chance to photograph this little farmer lady during our photo tour in/around Minneapolis, MN last weekend!  The corn is just about as tall as her at this point, which I've heard is good because of all the trouble caused during our stormy summer start!  But, it's looking good right now and the little over-alled farmer in the foreground just completes the scene! 

Sneak Peek - Little K | Eden Prairie Minnesota Baby Photographer

This little guy was having so much fun outside, despite the very uncomfortable high humidity we were experiencing that day!  It was icky and sticky, but he found a toy or two and seemed to ignore the heat!  He was pretty happy to be getting a helping hand from his dad so he could zoom around the yard!  We were able to get a few shots in until all of us were VERY ready to get back into the air conditioning!  Despite that, doesn't he look quite sharp in his fancy shirt?!  His mom went on a little shopping trip before the shoot (as many moms do) and found a bunch of great things to enhance this already stylish little guys wardrobe!  Sometimes I wish someone would do all my wardrobe shopping and I'd just get to have fun wearing all my great outfits - ah, what a dream!  For now, I'll be living vicariously through all the awesome kids I meet who are great dressers!

Sneak Peek - Sisters S & E + New Baby! | New Market Minnesota Child & Family Photographer

Aren't these little girls just too lovely?!  They're patiently awaiting the arrival of their new sibling (they don't know if they'll be getting a boy or a girl yet)!  We had a super fun time getting some sister portraits done and I even got a little dance lesson at the end all about twirling with loose skirts!  I can't wait to meet the newest family member in just about 3 weeks!

Sneak Peek - Baby E! | Lonsdale Minnesota Baby Photographer

This little lady is only 3 months old but she's so alert and super strong!  She followed my camera with her eyes for most of the shoot and was doing some sort of baby aerobics the whole time!  Plus, look at the adorable hat her mom got her!  I photographed her older sister at this age too and it was so much fun to compare the two of them!  Her big sister had tons of baby rolls but this little one is a chubby baby without the rolls.  But they both have the brightest blue eyes you'll ever see!  I can't wait to see how much she grows in the next 3 months!

Sneak Peek - Little K! | Eden Prairie Minnesota Baby Photographer

We're out here in Minnesota for the weekend and this little prince was one of our photo shoots during our photo tour!  He had just recently turned the big O-N-E and we had to do a bit of celebration!  He was just too funny!  He had some fun putting his fingers (and some of his feet) in the frosting but decided very promptly that he did not enjoy the taste of his delicious cupcake! 

All in all, quite a fun and energetic shoot and a wonderful addition to our photo tour!  More sneak peeks to come later, so stay tuned!  We can't wait to see you on our next photo tour, so let us know if you're interested signing up!
