The M Family | Onalaska Wisconsin Family Photographer

What a fun family!  They're so full of laughter!  It was actually a bit of a bittersweet moment as they finished their last session in our Baby Steps Plan (they had Little Sister J photographed from newborn through 1 year, with a session every three months to document her growth).  They also recently moved out of town and with over an hour drive to visit our studio, we can only hope to see them and their sweet girls again in the future!  That's the downfall of our job - we get so attached to all the wonderful families that make up our EIP family!  But, we did get to enjoy the lovely Fall weather together!  (To see a little peek into their previous sessions, click here, here, and here).

Little P | La Crosse Wisconsin Child Photographer

Fall is sticking around just a bit longer than we expected and we are taking full advantage of it!  Despite the nippy temps, Little P braved it outside for a few adorable shots with her lovely vest.  Every time we see her, she is more and more stylish!  Plus, who doesn't want a pair of the boots she's rocking?!  I know I do!

We've been able to watch this adorable young lady grow up into this beautiful two year old and it's been so much fun!  We've always enjoyed her stunning blue eyes (they shone at her 3 month old session here) and she loves flashing that coy smile (especially when she's nibbling on pearls like she did in this session here)!  All in all, she's been fun to have in the studio and out and about for sessions, along with her brother and parents as well and we can't wait to see more of this family as time goes on!  Also, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

The C Family | Holmen Wisconsin Family Photographer

We had so much fun with this family on the day of their photo shoot, even though the weather outside was a bit chilly and windy! We were able to sneak outside out studio and take advantage of the last of the fall weather, before winter sets in. This brother and sister have a such a great relationship which we definitely saw in their images. We are so lucky to have such great families as clients!!

Plus, with how great are these outfits?!  Perfect tones for the fall scenery.  Plus, the awesome deep greens, dark reds, and vibrant yellows that nature provided really helps this family pop in their images.  All in all, great way to spend a session on a dreary day!

Baby A | Holmen Wisconsin Baby Photographer

Oh my, the eyelashes on this lovely little lady were stunning!  With her rosy, puckered lips, the long dark lashes and a beautiful string of pearls she is gorgeous!  She came in with her parents and her two older brothers (that's right, she's got two big brothers keeping an eye on her) and we had so much fun during her session.

The love and joy that surround this little lady is outstanding!  Her parents adore her and she really seems to enjoy being the only sister in the crew.  We hope to see more of her and her family as she grows.  Anyone who sleeps this well in a basket with pearls and flowers is welcome at the studio anytime!

Baby E | Winona Minnesota Baby Photographer

Sleepy babies are so lovely!  Baby E was so comfortable during her session, she was content with sleeping it all away!  Even with some giggles and happy screams from Big Sister E in the background, she managed to keep her adorable peaceful poses.  We got to meet this family for a maternity session, before Baby E arrived and it was so wonderful seeing a set of parents so loving and excited about their children.  Plus, with a pediatrician for a mom, they're in great hands!  We are so excited to follow the growth of the family through the Baby Steps Program over the next year!

The A Family | La Crosse Wisconsin Family Photographer

We've been able to watch this family grow and it's been so memorable!  We met Big Brother B when he was a bit younger, before Little Brother O came along (see the blog post here).  Then, we got to photograph Mom and the family during her pregnancy (see the blog post here).  Just over 6 months ago, we met Baby O for the first time and had so much fun during his newborn session (see the blog post here).  So, of course we were excited to meet them at the park for a session again!  They are following our Baby Steps Plan, capturing a few sessions along the way of baby's first year.  It's just so much fun to watch the kiddos grow!

The G Family | Holmen Wisconsin Family Photographer

With Dad getting ready to deploy for his military service, this family snuck in a photo session to create some loving and fun memories!  We absolutely love military families (being from one myself) and always have such respect for our men and women in uniform.  These guys were just too cute!  With little ones rocking Dad's hat and cuddly family moments in the park, we got some very fun shots!  Plus, can you beat a baby wearing dog tags?!  We wish the whole family and quick, easy going and safe deployment.

The J Family | Holmen Wisconsin Family Photographer

A big comfy bed and a cuddly, cozy family - yes please!  There's just something about family snuggles that warm our hearts.  Especially when there are such adorable kiddos involved!  We've been photographing this family even before little sister arrived and it's been so great watching them grow!

We met for their session at their home in Holmen, WI.  What an amazing backyard they have, with grass and trees as far as the eye can see!  It made for a lovely setting and the kids really seemed to enjoy being in their natural environment.  Big Brother A is already 4 and Little Sister S is 6 months, so they're quite the fun combo to photograph.  They both have such stunning eyes you just can't help but capture adorable looks from them each time the shutter clicks!

Baby A | La Crosse Wisconsin Baby Photographer

It's so much fun getting the chance to meet all the adorable new babies that venture into our studio!  We were having a streak of baby boys at one point and now the baby girls are making their appearance.  How lovely is Baby A's soft pink skin - just perfect!  We had the chance to meet and photograph her mom before she arrived too - which is always a fun way to get to know the family!  Baby A decided to spend a little bit of time awake for her session, but once she got warm and cuddly, she was off to sleep - just the way we like the newborns!

B & J Engaged | La Crosse Wisconsin Wedding Photographer

We had so much fun a few weekends ago with B & J as we created their engagement photos!  With such a relaxed and easy-going couple, creating personalized images wasn't too difficult.  They both work at the same area, so they are very comfortable spending time together and their ease with one anther really showed in the images!

We were able to start in an alleyway in downtown La Crosse, Wisconsin, which made for some very fun, urban-style images!  We explored some gorgeous aged metal steps, which really made for a wonderfully unique background.  Then, we ended the session in a park, where we were able to catch the last bit of the sunlight.  As if their love wasn't enough, the sun helped them absolutely glow in their images!  We can't wait to see what their wedding brings next year!

Honeymooning | Wisconsin & Minnesota Photographer

What an amazing beginning of October we've had!  Not only did September bring many new clients to the studio, we also got to see a bunch of past clients as well!  So, we went into October in a daze, our minds filled with all the fun and happiness the busy days of September provided.  Then, on October 5th, I (Savanna) got married!  To add to the whirlwind, I travelled with my new husband to Duluth, MN for the few days of our honeymoon!  We had a blast taking photos together (he's also a photographer) and spending time together as newlyweds.  We found a magnificently gorgeous waterfall at the Duluth Zoo, MN.  We also visited the shores in Two Harbors, MN to admire Split Rock Lighthouse.  Now, we're back in the studio and back in the swing of things!  October is proving to be no different than September, with most of our days booked solid with shoots.  As crazy as it's getting, we aren't complaining!  We are loving the Fall!

Baby A | La Crosse Wisconsin Baby Photographer

We had so much fun with little Miss A! She took a while getting comfortable in the studio, but once she did, we got the sweetest pictures of this little peanut.  Someday when she is bigger, she will have her own pair of cowboy boots, but on this day, she was able to borrow her daddy's! Such a sweet little baby girl!

She was so petite and looked just darling in her parent's arms, especially near her dad's hands.  There's just something so sweet and gentle about newborns - we love to photograph them!  A's parents made sure to bring some essentials from her room, including a special blanket reminding mom of her grandmother.  Sweetness all around!
